In our searches for wonder, we stumbled upon truly magnificent findings. Unknown to the likes of science. Huge unidentified bone fragments have been discovered across multiple uninhabited systems. With some bones reaching eight kilometers in length, we have deemed it safe to assume that this species was a truly gargantuan life form. Its eating habits, communication methods, and even its skin color are unknown. Each bone is as barren as the place it was found. We have yet to successfully construct a full skeleton, for each bone is often broken in multiple places, with most of the fragments getting lost in the ocean of space. The only thing we are sure of about these creatures is that they are long gone, vanishing and leaving behind only the remnants of their great proportions. Despite this, the air of mystery and awe that surrounds these animals carries over to the scientific community as objects of wonder. Some believe they are fallen gods, long forgotten skeletons left behind by a world growing larger far too fast to keep up with. Some believe they are monsters, guarding a great danger that should never be uncovered. No matter what they are, they are huge and have left nothing but their wonders behind to puzzle us. We may never know where they have gone and why. This appears to be a fact we must accept; we can't know it all, despite how hard we try. As mortals, we must accept that we will never see it all, even gods fade with time. Someday, we will be long forgotten, left behind just as these creatures were, and all that's left is the remnants of what was.
