Chapter 3: A Hard Day, Pt. 2 Tails Doll was spying around Sonic’s location. He reached Cream’s house and accidentally encountered the Rabbit. He fell on ground as if he was an ordinary toy. She noticed the doll and lifted him. - “Oh! A plushie... Did someone lose it?”– Cream waited and looked around. No one spotted. “Since no one came back for it, it can be mine now!” – she hugged the doll and went back to her house. Despite being a part of Empire’s side, Tails Doll enjoyed this moment. The crystal on his head had a soul in it. That explains how he moves without help – he is basically possessed by an ancient spirit. --- By that time, Metal Rose was finished. Doctor decided to check the monitor of a special gadget that has the same frequency as the crystal, so he was able to see what Tails Doll sees. He saw that the doll infiltrated successfully. “What an innocent child.” – Eggman couldn’t help but made a notice. - “Now I know where they are hiding. Metal Sonic! Metal Rose! It's time for an attack!” <Location received. Moving out.> <Affirmative. Lead the way.> <Follow me.> --- On the way to Tails’ house, Amy saw Sonic and Knuckles talking. She joined their conversation. Sonic was talking about someone. - “…So I decided to help her.” Suddenly, two robots landed behind them. Amy pulled hammer and prepared to defend. “New Metal?! Finally, more scrap metal to destroy!”- Knuckles exclaimed and rushed at the robots. -[Better than listening about Rouge and Shadow!] Metal Rose pulled the hammer. – <Target identified. Knuckles the Echidna.> Echidna grabbed her hammer. - “That's all what you got?” The robot started to tug it, but quickly changed tactic. She used jetpack. “WOAH—” – Knuckles released it and fell on ground. The robot didn’t miss the opportunity and hit him. The Echidna flew few feet away and lost his rings. Sonic was fighting with Metal Sonic. Amy joined in to help Knuckles. - “Another me? There's only one Amy here!” Metal Rose slowly retreat to Metal Sonic. They defend back to back. Cream was flying around; she wanted to show her find. Amy noticed her. “Cream! We need your help!” – called Amy. “Okay, Amy!” – she arrived to the battlefield. Metal Rose spotted the Rabbit. – <Unknown subject spotted. Friend or Enemy? Can’t recognize. Collecting information--> – she accidentally hit Metal Sonic with hammer. Everyone freeze. <CPU destroyed. Emergency shutdown is imm--> – the blue robot fell down powerlessly. His ally covered mouth for a second, but quickly caught the falling brother. – <Starting evacuation protocol.>- she lifted him and flew away. Sonic sat down. Amy ran to him. “Whew, are you alright??” “Just tired... I need a break.” Knuckles got up from ground. - “Well, today was a hard day for us.” Amy hugged Sonic. – “We can have a picnic together--” Hedgehog twitched from unexpected move. - “Oh, I actually feel better now!” – he escaped from the embrace and quickly got up. [Gosh! That was close.] “Ok, well, we'll still have a picnic, right??” “Yes, but later.” – […Why didn’t I just say no? ]
