Happy Thanksgiving! As you get caught up in all the food and festivities, remember to protect the environment. Thanksgiving will inevitably result in leftovers. DON'T throw them out. A more sustainable alturnitive would be to donate them to a shelter or even compost anything inedible. Following these simple instructions work toward multiple SDGs (sustainable development goals). So, when you go to scrape your leftovers into the trash can, STOP and think about who could benefit from them. Start a compost bowl! Many communities now have places to dump out compost.
