But just one teeny mistake opened an investigation, which led Detective Jake Peralta on the other side of the table. Questions were asked, which were answered. Jake /sweared/ he had nothing to do with it, but the squad was skeptical. Even Amy had her doubts. But could they really believe that Jake, the precincts best and honorable detective, would do such a thing? Well, it's later found out that he was an accomplice to a murder but he did it for the sake of someone close to him. The only one who still cared about him outside of work.
