The 5 Ties started, in reality, as a random Spop group that people auditioned for, and we had 5 members. One of which was scouted personally. We originated with Luna, Moka, Yume, Aez and Tally, but due to circumstances, we had to swap out Moka with Cat and Luna with Mi-cha, who was personally scouted. And Aez transitioned into Simon. So... like any other group. Oh- and I added Gob as an ideas guy and then they kinda became an honorary member :0 But, if you're looking for lore-wise... The year? 2010. Rose Finch? Lonely. I kid, I kid, but the person wanted to start a band, it was arguably stupid at the time, we were still in high school- it was, like I said, stupid. And I blatantly said this in front of her face. I'm very blunt. But I stuck around for the ride, we got a second guitarist, that was pretty cool, he was pretty cool, Kovi was a good guy, fun-loving and knew his way around a guitar, honestly, in my opinion, better than Rose. One thing led to another, and then we had a bassist, Skye. We had to teach her the bass, but she borrowed my bass, so we're cool. I'm more of a drum person anyways. Skye had to add her best friend, Sage, who was arguably a great pianist and just... STELLAR, I had to say that here. She can also play violin, which is really cool. She was in the school's orchestra, and was first chair, wondering why she didn't choose to be a world-class violinist. And then... they needed a drummer. Of course, I was there for the ride, there for the ups and downs, but I was originally a mixer. They picked a random drummer off the street. He dropped out before the first album release... sheesh... uh... Spade Artichoke? I accept my position. I think it was just a bunch of lucky coincidences. We originally were just a normal band, we didn't have uniforms or any theme. It wasn't needed. We were just sophomores and juniors. What else could you need? Well, then we scored our first gig after about a year of practice. We panicked though. We never had a name for our band, and we were pacing thinking about one. Then we just threw a dart at a random band and based our name off of that. Thank god it was Tally Hall. We played as The 5 Ties, and since the name worked, we kinda had to wear the ties. We were known as a color, apparently. I'm grey! We rocked it. We rocked their socks off, until we got gig after gig. It was really cool. Until, we were allowed to perform to represent our city. Then our county. Well, eventually, we head into college, I went for a English degree, kinda, well, almost immediately dropped out because of a huge salary we got, and maybe thought we didn't need it then. also, 2012, Auburn wanted to join, he's a great friend of mine, so, we kinda let him as an honorary member! He attends live performances and stuff and plays extra instruments!! So here we are now, 2014, and we're thriving. It took about 4 years of startup, but we're finally here. Somewhere in the big-leagues. We aren't as popular as MCR, Green Day or something like that, but we are up there... ish. We're just a group planning on small or big things! We don't really know where we're headed, but we'll try! Ask questions here: ■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ ✮ That's all for now! ⋆˙ ꒰ Tie-ing this up!
