[math yap below] Newton's fractal is the map obtained by plotting which root of a function that Newton's method reaches when used on each point in the complex plane. The particular function is just (z^3 - 1), which still gives rise to this infinite complexity. Ironically, Isaac Newton actually did not know about this fractal.
