Note for @Pikakit : Without beating around the bush, I figured it was probably best if I just addressed this now: I am aware that Flicker's design does look a lot like Spring's. I'd first like to assure you that this is accidental- I've had Flicker's design as a concept for over a year now (because apparently it took me that long to find the motivation to redo and finish her bio ;-;), which was long before I was aware of Spring's existence- I actually got the idea of a Sky-forme Shaymin/Leafeon hybrid after watching the 'Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior' film lol ^^' I did realise that Spring and Flicker were similar in design whilst creating the project celebrating your 5000 follower milestone, and made a few alterations to Flicker's design as a result, so the differences now are, most notably: the difference in the style of quiff, the patterns on the paws and eye colour (also, I think their build is a little different too?). I'd personally rather not change Flicker's design much further, or keep the changes to a minimum as I've become quite attached to her design, but that said, I do appreciate that the two do look incredibly similar, and would understand if you wanted me to change Flicker's design to make her more distinct from Spring. I'm really sorry about this, it was honestly unintentional. ^^' --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⚘ Flicker ⚘ ---Personality--- Flicker is a selfless and loyal individual. A prominent adventurous streak coupled with a brash tendency to race headfirst into things unplanned means she spends a lot of her time satisfying her insatiable curiosity with madcap escapades. She is excitable and has an enthusiasm for anything she sets her mind to- in this sense, she can be quite stubborn and headstrong- in her eyes, nothing is impossible if you’re determined enough. She is friendly to all she meets, although she often acts with a degree of inadvisable naivety and general recklessness that can sometimes land her in trouble. Despite her apparent care-free nature, Flicker still can be thoughtful and cares greatly for her friends (especially Otis) and will do anything in her power to protect them- she hates putting them in any danger, especially when it has arisen as a result of her actions. ---Bio (and Other Information)--- Flicker grew up in the forest alongside Otis, a Fennekin-Noivern hybrid, and the two of them have been inseparable friends for as long as either of them can remember. Her parents always encouraged her to ask questions and explore the world around her, although they maintained a protective watch over the rambunctious Pokémon. Being a hybrid of Sky-forme Shaymin, Flicker is able to fly in the same way. She is also instinctively fond of environments with a thriving ecosystem, especially forest areas with Gracidea flowers and tends to be in a better mood and more positive in these areas. Linked to this is the fact that being in areas with poor biodiversity or a collapsed ecosystem (or even deserts) makes Flicker more irate and easily upset. (This is a subconscious effect and Flicker is only vaguely aware of it happening; she is also unable to stop it from occuring.) Additionally, being in these latter sort of areas, or in polluted surroundings, for an extended period of time can lead to Flicker suffering some symptoms of illness, such as nausea and headaches. Flicker can also gain a small degree of energy from the sun by photosynthesising, an ability she has inherited from her Leafeon half It is worth noting that this process is not as efficient as in a pure Leafeon and she normally only gains enough energy to become slightly more agile. Flicker has heterochromia- her left eye is a greyish colour that could be mistaken for blindness, but she isn't blind in either eye. ---Design Notes--- The stripes above Flicker's paws circle in cresecnt moon shapes and appear quite similar to the stripes of a birch tree. Flicker's crest/quiff is smaller and more jagged than a regular Sky-forme Shaymin's, and she is slightly shorter than a regular Leafeon at her age. This art is really old :'> As in, I-drew-this-last-summer-old. It pre-dates the art in Ferin's second bio- If the name Flicker (and personality) sounds familiar, it's because I've used them before.
