How the Game Works The game is played on a simple grid with three rows and three columns. One player uses X, and the other uses O. Players take turns placing their mark in any empty space on the grid. The goal is to be the first player to make a line of three of your marks. This line can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Once a space is marked, it cannot be changed. If every space is filled and neither player forms a line, the game ends in a draw.
