I’m actually really happy with how this turned out. I made some lore for them, I’ll put that in the notes whenever I actually write it down. The third image is the original. I did change some stuff about the design, but I don’t think I changed too much
So Stitches is pretty much a whole bunch of childhood toys from different kids that had been cut apart and put back together. The love that the previous kids had for their toys kinda is like magic and is what brought Stitches to life. Because of said magic, Stitches can float, because I think it would be very weird if they just had to drag themselves everywhere they go. All of the kids that previously owned their toys (before they became part of Stitches) left them behind because they grew up. Stitches (who I would say pretty much is a child) doesn’t exactly understand why they would grow up, and thinks that the kids were forced to. Because of this, Stitches would go and find kids (smaller kids, bigger kids would reasonably be scared if they saw a floating mass of plush and scream for their life) who didn’t want to grow up, take them (not forcefully, they asked kindly) and try to keep them kids forever. This obviously doesn’t work, and the kids do eventually turn into adults and leave. Stitches thinks that they did something wrong, or maybe there is this specific way you have to take care of kids to make them stay kids. Because Stitches just can’t understand how growing up works, and nobody will tell them (smaller kids wouldn't know probably, and any other human with a mostly formed brain would scream if Stitches even approached them), it’s just become this endless cycle for Stitches, who’s just doomed to keep finding kids, raising kids, and watching them leave. I might change the lore a little bit, but for the most part yeah that’s it
