IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT I used scratch for 5 years, I had old accounts. @NormanTheGamer is my main account made on April 2023. I had many moments using this website and it changed my life. But scratch has fallen off. I decided to quit on September 2024 to focus on roblox instead of scratch and to take a break from the scratch community because I was very famous. However, I returned sometime on May 2025 because I miss my fans and the scratch community. I posted some projects from June to October 2025, like a Geometry Dash Wave game and some projects celebrating certain events. I even reshared my old projects that were previously unshared. I made many popular projects when I became famous. Roblox Clicker got 5.4m views, and Roblox Blade Ball got 41k loves and 37k favorites as of December 1, 2025. I used to make animations but I went into game making, I made games about Minecraft and Roblox. Those games were on the front page and the explore page and they got millions of views, even over 20k loves and favorites. I got over 20m total views, and 300k total loves and favorites. I also made a ton of friends on this website. I liked to chat with people on scratch, including my scratch friends on their profiles. My fans were posting nice comments. I would also see many various projects created by other people on the explore page. This happened from 2021 to 2024. It was a fun memory. However, Scratch has changed and it’s not the way it is. Most of my friends, including famous scratchers have left scratch. They used to make projects but they eventually quit scratch. My most popular Geometry Dash fan games were also copyright striked by RobTopGames due to competition between his original Geometry Dash game and the fake geometry dash games on November 13, 2025. My games had more than 4m views, especially my recent geometry dash wave game shared on June 5, 2025 which got 4m views, 25k loves, and 22k favorites in 5 months. It was the most popular scratch project made in 2025. Hundreds of Geometry Dash scratch games got copyright striked, including the most popular project on scratch made by @griffpatch with over 150m views. This permanently deleted a ton of people’s projects including mines, that had thousands of loves, and favorites that they earned, even deleting millions of views that they earned on their projects. (I lost 9 million total views, and 50k total loves and favorites.) However, my other popular projects are still up and thousands of kids are playing them daily. The scratch front page doesn’t even have top loved or top remixed anymore. The explore page now only shows random old projects, and new projects will almost never be noticed on scratch because they will not show up on the explore page. The only way people can get their projects noticed is by being featured. There are also the same types of projects that show up like platformers on scratch. It would be hard to find different types of games on the website. The same projects were on the trending explore page for 5 months so they got way more attention over other projects. The scratch community is full of toxic scratchers. When I used scratch for 5 years, some scratchers would insult me over something on scratch and I sometimes have to argue with them. It can be annoying to argue with a kid over something on scratch, or see a rude comment, project, or studio towards me. Some people also posted very terrible content and put it in their projects or commented it. One time, there was a very horrible thumbnail that showed up on the explore page that is absolutely not allowed on scratch. Thousands of kids saw it and they were most likely traumatized. Scratch has also changed my life where I spend most of my time using that website. I met a ton of people on that website. However, I would try to balance my time spent on life and my time spent on scratch. I really hope the scratch team is able to fix this website. I can still respond to comments though and I am still gonna be active.
