(This is all subject to change if the rules on the invasion or colonization of non-player land have changed. I consulted with Marica who said that there are no current rules on this. However, if anyone has major concern or problem with this, then I will ask Marica to play as the nations mentioned so as to retain some challenge.)
_____________________________________________ ATTACKS/ANNEXATIONS: Korea - Due to their absence and self stated departure not only from the community, but also their account, the land of Korea is formally being annexed by Japan and will be incorporated into the empire. Korea will remain as its own state so as to retain some of its cultural difference. Borneo - The nation of Borneo (not to be misinterpreted as the whole island) Is invaded by Japanese forces, using landings at Banjabaru, Banjarmarsin, Balikpapan, and Bontang. Carriers, destroyers, cruisers, and subs would escort a large convoy of troop carriers which themselves would also be protected overhead, by an overwhelming sky of metal and lead. Planes would first hit key cities such as Cairo, Port Suez, Port Said, Tanta, and Alexandria, so as to create panic and chaos, while also disarming any forces or defenses that may be there. Then, the troops would storm the beaches, with constant naval barrage supporting them on the beach heads. Slowly but surely, the situation in Egypt would deteriorate, so in a sign of mercy, Japan would end their conquests with gains in the north and south. Declaration to the Marley Federation: As Japan understands it, The Marley Federation has been making active steps to control more and more territory in Africa.
