One fateful night, William Afton goes back to the shut down Freddy's location to get the fifth sample of remnant. While walking around the abandoned pizzeria, the ghosts of his victims started to surround him. He rushed to the safe room, and hid in his springlock suit. Little did he know, a pipe above him was leaking. When a drop of water touched the suit, the springlocks snapped loose, impaling Afton.
