If you guys were wondering where I’ve been, I’ve been working on this… Kirby Snowball Fighters. And now… well… it’s finally finished enough to release? Idk… the bots are pretty dumb but it’s good enough for someone to have fun with ‘em. Anyways I gotta go celebrate Christmas after this which means that this is the Christmas project for this year. You’re welcome. Also feel free to remix this project and make the CPUs smarter, that would be highly appreciated I originally gave up on releasing this on time… but them I remembered I didn’t want to break my short streak of participating in the KCMC. So, I grinded it out, only needing to cut one stage. Anyways, this is Kirby Snowball Fighters, a game where you play as a Kirby OC (or just Kirby himself) and fight till the death… with snowballs. How to play:: The player will always follow your mouse. Tap or click quickly (yes, quickly) to throw a snowball. I designed the controls like this because I made this on mobile. The objective of the game is to defeat the other player. You can do so by throwing snowballs at them. But also be careful to not get hit by snowballs yourself! But also, you can’t throw snowballs if you don’t have anything snowballs to throw. Run around the stage, collecting enough snowballs to where you are satisfied. Big snowballs also occasionally spawn which give you 3 snowballs. If your HP gets low, food items spawn around every now and then. There are regular food items which heal 1 bar of HP, pep brews which heal 2 bars of HP and Maxmum Tomatoes that restores your HP completely! Also keep in mind that each level has its own unique trope. Snowfall Valley has thick snow which snow down the player. Frostbite Volcano spawns in frost splatters that get rid of one of your snowballs. They may not seem like a big deal, but they can pile up fast… Jolly Shopette has a campfire which can shield you from snowballs. But you can’t stay in there forever. The campfire has a cooldown once you stayed in the campfire for a certain amount of time. Big snowballs don’t spawn in Jolly Shoppete, but regular snowballs spawn 25% more often. That shouldn’t be too much to digest. And if that is… oh well. Most players figure it out along the way, anyways.
Notes ~~~ Even though I’m not planning on updating this all the time, please report any bugs you may find. This game is designed very specifically for mobile. Throwing snowballs is… how can I say… like the ninja copy ability. You need to click fast if you want to fire snowballs. Just wanted to get that out of the way. I’m planning to update this game eventually. It might be a few months, sure, but just know that I’ve got this game in mind when I have a bunch of motivation but no ideas. Here’s some things that I am planning to add in future updates (organized from most likely to least likely) -Statistics to look at in the winning screen -Bug fixes -A two player mode -Another stage -Jukebox -Changing player colors -DLC characters? -Campaign mode? -Different game modes? -(if I ever figure it out) Online play??? -Platformer-styled mode (which I will probably never do) Credits ~~~ Music- Battle of Blizzard Bridge- Kirby and the Forgotten Land Frozen Hillside - Kirby Air Ride Nature’s Navel - Kirby Star Allies Frostak Street Snow Park - Kirby and the Forgotten Land (Star-Crossed World DLC) How Many Did We Hit? - Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Characters (permission granted)- Kirby - HAL Labs PK - @Purple_Kirby_61 (that’s me) True Blue - @Minecrat7744 YelloKirby - @Greenpiley123 Coolkirb - @coolkirb235 Ted - @tmh1200 Forsaken Knight - @ItsOli23TEST Blizzno Knight - @OM718 Cod - @SSBAwakened Blake - @supermariofan36 Jack - @PhanCode2014 Kerbi - @Kerbicake Cherry - @-LunarLuigi- Joe - @LeoGames2016 Radiant - @Melacon4 Userextreme - @userextreme Other- @CodeKirby for the Kirby logo in the Kirby Snowball Fighters logo @Greenpiley123 for the squinting eyes… surprisingly Shoutout to @quickflea for making some suggestions for the CPU behavior!
