Warning: Mr. Egg's attack contains a jumpscare. Press green flag a few times when starting the game. Hold S when starting the game with green flag to skip the beginning cutscene. (It'll skip after a couple of seconds) The combat system is mostly the same, so press keys 0-5 to do silly spells accompanied by songs, and press Space to do a bit of extra damage with it. 1: TV Time (damage) [costs 3 Tokens] 2: Happy! (defense) [costs 2.5 Tokens] 3: Close. (less defense for enemy) [costs 2.5 Tokens] 4: Pirouette (random action. Gets stronger if you continue to use Pirouette in a row, even over several turns. Combo resets when you use Pirouette while the music is changed.) [costs 4 Tokens] 4.5: Pirouette can heal Niko, hurt enemy, buff Niko defense, nerf enemy defense, or just waste a turn. 4.75: Pirouette's heal is actually insanely overpowered due to the fact that it gets buffed by the Happy value. Big Happy value means big healing! 5: much like Pirouette, it does a random action. HOWEVER, you cannot chain this move by using it over and over to get more effects. Instead, the effect you get is much better than normal. But, once your next turn starts, you'll get a random BAD effect as well! So keep that in mind. [costs 5 Tokens] 0: Party!: heals 1 HP if Party! song wasn't playing when used [costs 0 Tokens], heals slightly better if Party! song is playing when used. [costs 2 Tokens] 0.5: Party!'s healing is ALSO affected by the Happy value, so you can get extra health by having a big happy value. However, it's not a big bonus, plus if the Happy value is NEGATIVE then it actually heals less! Space: deals small damage. if any of the other spell songs are playing, it also activates their effect! [costs Spell's Token cost + 1 Token] If nothing useful is playing, it has a cheaper cost. [costs 1 Token] What's new is how you are rewarded for strategy! Before, song effects would get slightly better with consecutive use, but now that doesn't happen! Instead, right before your turn starts, whatever song is playing will give a bonus (usually the same effect as usual). A sound effect will also accompany the bonus. Here are the before-your-turn effects. 1: small damage 2: defense buff 3: enemy defense debuff 4: literally just an extra pirouette, doesn't stack 5: a random bad effect (frozen, tacos, food poisoning, lightning strike) 0: small heal if given tacos from spell 5, they block 3 keys but provide no defense for the enemy. Without further ado, here's the special guests! (fun fact: Louie Peakmin [me] gathered these guests without ANYONE knowing who else would be here, hence why you get ZERO hints on which enemy is next in battle. Only Louie Peakmin will warn you about who is next.) DigimonCodes: She can throw pikmin at you; how dastardly. There are 3 types, each with a different effect. Purple deals high damage (TWELVE), Rock deals 8 damage and removes 1 defense, and Ice freezes Niko, disabling scratch (Space) for one turn. Being frozen ALSO makes you get 4 tokens in the beginning of your turn instead of 5. Ice pikmin also deal damage, dealing 1 damage normally but also dealing additional damage if Niko's defense is negative. Note: Purple and Ice pikmin's damage is affected by (Happy) defense, except for Ice ignoring positive defense due to already dealing a miniscule amount. Rock does not check for your defense. Mr. Egg: This generous old chap won't hurt you at all! That is, as long as you don't hit him first. Be warned, Father Egg does not take kindly to children who strike him. (warning: TV time or Pirouette Jr. playing when he switches in will result in damage.) (second warning: his jumpscare is not affected by defense.) Tony: Tony loves his tacos! He'll even show you how much he loves them by putting his tacos on your spell keys. Don't touch those taco keys, or else you'll face his wrath. After his turn is over, Tony's tacos will go away (and also provide the enemy with a 2-point defense buff). (also, taco keys are disabled, so there's no point in touching them anyway). Ornella the Kirb: she doesn't really want to be in this fight, so she'll just chill in the corner. Damage and debuffing won't work while it's her turn since she didn't connect her stats to the enemy's total stats. So take the turn to heal or get defense! (she won't hurt you either) New Enemy: Lil Bumpy! This marketable plush-looking thing will deal 8 damage during her monologue, and then stay in the room being a little nuisance (by healing the enemy and providing defense for them). You can get rid of her by clicking on her on your turn (if it doesn't interrupt anything, like an attack), but that will also rid you of 9.99 of your precious health! So be careful about that. Once the enemy health is below 50, you have a chance to encounter Louie Peakmin! Louie Peakmin: I'll either throw a ton of pikmin at you (dealing TWENTY ONE DAMAGE), or unleash my Pharaoh's curse. If you're losing pretty bad, though, maybe I'll show a little mercy...
