Iv'e been doing a few drawings these past weeks, and I really like doing the line art in my notebook. It keeps the notebook texture and the pencil texture and It makes it half hand-drawn which is nice :) 1. Evie at window seat. I did this with traditional line 2. random drawing of Oliver my characters lifting up a barrel I don't know why he's lifting it. he just is. this line art is also traditional, except for the characters. I love the texture- 3. sketch in my notebook that I liked so I colored it. Oliver and some other randomboi with a fish. Oliver has just read something v e r y important in the papers. life changing, actually. 4. picture before I colored it. 5. moi. 6. new character (also traditional line art. most of my new drawings are, actually.) 7. it was raining and I was sketching by candlelight. it was too beauteous not to take a picture of. the person I'm sketching is another new character 8. sketched comic 9. more sketched comic 10. whole page of sketched comic blurred for anonymity 11. oliver 12. oliver beside barrel 13. Doll I made of my new character, his limbs can move, I articulated him with wire. 14. doll 15. my cat is on my desk having a tea party with the doll "More tea, Ashley?" "You're too kind, sir." end
Little Dreamer by Domini Forster. I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH I just found it a few weeks ago and it has been on repeat :DDDDDD were so back, bois. Oliver is not blushing, he just looks perpetually cold because he is perpetually cold. 24-7. he's probably my favorite character, but also THE HARDEST TO DRAW. he had more variations and concept sketches than any other character. no one has even come close to how many times I revised his design, and I FINALLY GOT IT. Evie is the easiest to draw. Or Anders. probably Anders. he had no character change since I first drew that little boi. I've been trying to have unique designs for each of my characters. I'm really trying *cries* lol last year all my characters looked the same except for the clothes/hair and then my friend on scratch suggested I try to do different types and I TOOK THAT TO HEART. thank you for saying that, friend :)
