=============== | ABILITIES | ================ These are lore-only to justify my shenanigans. Electric absorption (Passive) : When hit with any electric-based energy, Fulgur becomes stronger temporarily, or if it is very powerful, permanently. Charge (Passive) : Can connect himself to a Spark/electricity consuming system and supply it with power as long as Fulgur stays connected. Conduction (Passive) : Fulgur dematerializes and moves through a conductive materials (Metals work best, saltwater too). Rematerializes upon exit ================ | LORE | ================ Long ago, Sanctum first started harnessing the power of Spark. The first reactors weren't perfect, and for a long time, the volatile energies held within often leaked out in varying amounts. With no place to go, they caused some truly impressive kabooms. A particularly large explosion made some stones... different. Some of them grew attuned to the Spark, and more importantly, electricity. The one closest rock crystallized and became his core. The rest responded to it. And they could move. Fulgur was born. Then, he was quietly absorbing the massive power seeping from the generators. Unbeknownst to the engineers running the place, he was what kept the facility from becoming a smoking crater once again, all while silently growing ever stronger. Awoken from his slumber, he assembled himself and (somewhat clumsily) took the form of a Reactor Engineer. When the rest of the engineers first saw him, they all wet themselves. For some time, he's served in the Sparkworks, as one of the most skillful engineers. But now, duty calls. Armed with the decades of absorbed power from the Spark and electrical expertise, Fulgur fights to protect his beloved infrastructure. And make some friends.
