(All this is optional for you. If you don't like this you can just use: Taintedsnow killed many cats out of rage for a loss :D) (BLOOD WARNING) Taintedsnow was a warrior of Riverclan. When he was a young warrior in a particularly harsh leafbare, there was a minor prophecy, talking about a cat who would save Riverclan from famine. Nobody really knew who Starclan was talking about and decided to wait for a bit so that they could be revealed. Taintedsnow wasn't very interested in this prophecy. As long as it didn't affect his personal life, he wouldn't question anything. Until the prophecy did affect his personal life. A close friend of his, Cloudymoon specifically. Cloudymoon would be a great leader. She was respectful, had a keen sense of smell and great direction and logic, and had done many heroic acts herself. He found it a bit weird she kept a bird instead of eating it, but she definitely made up for it by the amount of prey she was able to bring back. And there was a problem. Breezeleaf, was seen as a sweet, loyal cat who would never do anything wrong. Nobody would ever suspect anything, or that she was sly and ambitious underneath. The cats were starting to see Cloudymoon as the Prophecy cat. In Breezeleaf's logic, if this were true, many cats would respect Cloudymoon and one day she might take the role of deputy. But Breezeleaf felt like she had worked so hard to become a warrior and received 0 credit. So, Breezeleaf took Cloudymoon out on a patrol. But Taintedsnow had seen Breezeleaf's quiet hatred. He followed them, silently worried for his friend. Cloudymoon was sitting over the edge, ready to fish when Breezeleaf lunged. Pushed her over the edge into the deep of the rivers before Tainted or Cloudy could do anything. Taintedsnow jumped out of his hiding spot, horrified. He had tried to save Cloudy, but she was already too deep into the water, her limp body resting on the murky floor of the river. And when Breezeleaf stated her action as 'accidental', he was outraged. He dragged Breezeleaf back to camp, and dropped her in front of the current leader and deputy. He explained what had happened, what he had seen. But Breezeleaf simply lowered her head, cried and sobbed about how it was an accident. She had only been trying to get closer to Cloudymoon and she had accidentally knocked her in. She even went on to say how "If only she had been a good swimmer. I guess she wasn't that great after all....". Taintedsnow couldn't believe his ears. No way the leader and deputy would believe that, right? But they did. Mysteriously, the ice where Cloudymoon had been pushed through didn't close back up. And more fish swam, early from hibernation. Cloudymoon truly was the prophecy cat, yet everyone saw Breezeleaf as the one. Taintedsnow was outraged. He would get his revenge. So on the night of where they celebrated Breezeleaf and mourned Cloudymoon, Taintedsnow sl*ughtered Breezeleaf. And her family. Even the newborn kits of her sister. Even Breezeleaf's grandparents, who were elders, almost defenseless. The rest of Riverclan found the sight of a messy bloodbath, with Taintedsnow only holding Cloudymoon's bird. And when they ran to him? He only smiled and said "It was an accident. If only they had been good fighters. The leader snarled, swore to Starclan on how evil Taintedsnow was. Taintedsnow lunged and he and the leader fought until they killed each other. The leader had lives left, but Taintedsnow died. Now in the dark forest, He never regrets what he did, but does wish he could be in Starclan just to reassure Cloudy that his actions were only for her sake. Because if she hadn't died, she might've gone on to become a leader. He knows she'll always be respected in Starclan though, and is content knowing so.
