I know the resolution is bad, my phone's camera quality is very crappy. This is based on a scene from a webcomic I'm planning on releasing in 2026 or 2027. After rising international tensions, primarily over dwindling oil resources, the tension finally broke on June 28 0000, when a nuclear exchange broke out between NATO, China and the Russian Federation. The first missile, with a yield of about 1 megaton or 1000 kilotons of TNT struck Great Falls at around 11:27 PM local time. It detonated at Malmstrom AFB at roughly ground height, so as to neutralize underground missile silos. The house seen on the left, 9.3 km away, had it's windows and door blown in. The second missile, with a yield of about 0.5 megatons or 500 kilotons struck around 11:31 PM near the Countryside Village neighborhood in Great Falls, it is visible to the left of the drawing, just rising with condensation clouds forming. The missile detonated 500 meters from the ground, and 6.4 km away, the pressure wave managed to partially collapse the roof of the house but not entirely destroy the structure.
This is a real place. This is on a road at the edge of Great Falls, Montana. Great Falls is also home to Malmstrom Air Force Base which would be a likely target for a missile attack. That's what the mushroom cloud on the right is intended to be though I kinda screwed it up since Malmstrom is in the direction of the third image instead.
