The L box in the ALBC logo being tilted 107 degrees clockwise represents the number of years since the declaration of the Tripolitanian Republic against Italian colonial rule, the first time Libya as a nation had gotten its footing, and a symbolic sign of rebellion against colonization and for the people of the Libyan state.
The Association of Libyan Broadcasting Corporations (ALBC, "جمعية هيئات الإذاعة والتلفزيون الليبية" in Arabic) is an English-language Libyan television network made up of multiple television and radio companies in the State of Libya, hence the name. It launched in September 2012, almost a year after socialist dictator Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown in a civil conflict. It joined the Arab League Network in 2013. جمعية هيئات الإذاعة والتلفزيون الليبية (ALBC) هي شبكة تلفزيونية ليبية ناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية، تتألف من عدة شركات تلفزيونية وإذاعية في دولة ليبيا، ومن هنا جاء اسمها. وقد انطلقت الشبكة في سبتمبر 2012، أي بعد عام تقريبًا من الإطاحة بالديكتاتور معمر القذافي في صراع داخلي. وانضمت إلى شبكة جامعة الدول العربية في عام 2013.
