Have a blessed Advent season! Advent is a Christian season celebrated to prepare our hearts for Christ's coming, not only at Christmas, but also for His second coming at the end of time. The wreath has four candles. A candle is lit for each Sunday in Advent. The rose (not pink) candle is for Gaudette Sunday, which is the third Sunday in Advent. Rose stands for joy. We are joyful because we are so close to Christ's birth at Christmas! The circular wreath has no beginning and no end, which symbolizes how God has no beginning and no end. The evergreen branches in the wreath stay green all year, which symbolizes how God is unchanging. Candles give light, representing how Jesus is the spiritual light of the world.
All sprites and code were made by me. Apologies for getting this out a little late! Fun Fact: Because Advent begins on a Sunday, and Christmas falls on different days of the week each year, the exact length of Advent varies. This year, it starts on November 30th.
