Hello, again! :D Wow, a year already? I didn't remember it had been this long since I created this distracted and bored accountant. I had been looking back at old remixes of ABM and the very first projects from the fan club, and there are so many memories that I invite you to check them out. I remember the excitement of this project getting featured, and the domino effect it caused to bring us to where we are, celebrating this game's first anniversary. It has been so amazing seeing all the art and projects the community has made, and it fills me with so much happiness to see people be interested in this little game and its world, and of course, its protagonist. Here is a little bit of the story behind the making of the game :P ABM nor Clara were just about to not exist. My first idea for the game jam ABM was an entry for was actually of a clown juggling stuff the crowd threw at them. I was about to go full with it, but I didn't like much the clown's sprite I had made, and I thought the game was too hard to make, so I moved to a simpler idea. The game instead was going to be about a worker at a company, position still undefined, where they would have to do tasks such a filling documents, getting coffee, and... attending a meeting. I knew I wouldn't have time to make all of that, and then it just clicked. I remembered that game from WarioWare Gold named "Sneaky Gamer Challenge" and decided to just make just the meeting part based on that concept. Fun fact: Clara's design is inspired by a random image I once saw on the internet lol I'm very proud of how far ABM has gotten. You can find ABM very easily on Google. There is even a page that reuploaded the game lol. It had been for a long time in the Popular tab as well. Searching for "Clara" in the Search bar shows you a lot of projects of this Clara, even more if you activate "Trending". Who knows if she has gone further :P It's fun and nostalgic to look back at the beginning of the ABM community. All I can say is thanks to everyone for forming part of this community. This is my wish come true. The truth is that my time in Scratch is running low. I'm going to university this year, and I just feel I have done enough here. There are so many talented Scartchers out there that you should really check out. Do you have any ideas for other things we could do to celebrate the anniversary, or want to share your experiences in this community? Write them below. I'd be glad to read them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You are the best community I could ever wish for <3
