early test build of a new super smash bros like game. DEVLOG #1: Pretty happy with the feel of the movement and how well the double jump functions. Its nice to make something using a tutorial, but my favorite part of coding is getting an experimental idea I have never tried before- kinda like the double jump, and just winging it and doing it without any sort of help or tutorial. Troubleshooting it when it doesn't work and fixing all the problems that somes with it UNTIL IT FINALLY DOES WORK is just so fulfilling. I think beastman is the only one reading this, which is who its made for, HI BEASTMAN!!! Idk if I ever told you, but I have an animation background. I have been animating for a few years now and I'm in an animation class at my school so I used my big brain to clean up the animation to my liking I took the existing frames and added some in betweens to fix the timing and easing of it. not a lot to see for now but look out for later versions :))) added a delay before being able to use double jump to make it feel better, and working on adding end lag to landing before jumping again
