THE COMMUNITY HAS MASSACRED RUBY TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN. Theirs a popular thing communities really like where a character in a game that acts just little bit silly or shows unique emotions quite often THE FANDOM WILL SHARED THAT CHARACTER TO THE BONE and make them some kinda cute little silly guy pookie and I HATE IT. Do what you want with your characters but don't push the narrative so much to the point it starts to become more canon in the series. this is Ruby. If you were to watch I dunno BFDIA 3 you'd see how different Ruby was she was more shy and nervous especially with Pencil and Match. Between BFDIA 5-7 She became more silly this is fine because it's not pushed so heavily. I would cover BFB but imma be honest the screentime for he that season sucked kinda with character hence why BFB even Pre-Split is the worst season. So let's just get the BFDIA her most prevalent season and more into post revival she becomes a demon. First of all the gem school bit was really funny but in BFDIA 9 She uses it as leverage to "get sympathy from leader pence pence" and Ruby also has her IQ heavily lowered to a MASSIVE DEGREE like THE unclogging a yoyle toilet bit is funny but Pre Revival Ruby or heck even BFB Ruby would not be this dumb. She also constantly glazes Pencil Like I know she looked up to her way before but like SHE KILLED ICE CUBE WITH EASE JUST BECAUSE "SHE BROKE THE FREE SMART LOYALTY RULE". Also she's kinda more rude than usually like no shot you'd watch BFDIA 2 see Ruby and think "This would be the type of person to remove someones size and constantly belittle the situation and call them ugly' AND SHE DOES THIS TO ALL WOAH BUNCHERS MINUS NEEDLE. In BFDIA 11 she shrinks Pin because she didn't say she liked Freesmart EVEN THOUGH SHE COULDN'T TALK showing how her Intelligence is taking a heavy decrease. I Like Ruby Shes probably an 8.3/10 But sometimes I look back at what we could've have because Ruby is so stupid and more sensitive than before like someone will say Ruby's voice sounds weird and she will have a mental breakdown its not ven a joke I can't even name an example its happened so many times. So yeah Ruby is a neat character but the fandom and some of the writers made Ruby not as good as she could've been. I know for a fact this is gonna ragebait "@jalalarinor
So Ruby at the end of the day is pretty good and Definitely one of the better characters in BFDIA cough cough "COINY" but she definitely has problems Oh yeah the random laughs and screams in the project is just a funny thing kinda sounds like Ruby's cry when you think abt it.
