Hi! Welcome to my 'The Wind in My Hair' MAP, which I think stands for Multiple-Animator-Project. Here's how this is going to work: Bluh no one's signing up but if you're interested feel free!! Step 1: Go through the song and decide which part you'd like to animate, I have a vision, you can find it in the notes and credits section. Step 2: Make a comment that says this: (number) claimed. I will put a note so that people don't try to take your part, and if you want to remain anonymous, tell me and I'll delete the comment (I get it, there are creeps out there who would be really rude if you took the part they wanted to do). NOTE: If required, please tell me your vision. I want to make sure it fits with the plot. Step 3: When I get back to you (and ONLY when I get back to you), you will remix the project. If you don't remix the project, your piece will not get put into the MAP and I will give your part to someone else. I don't have the time or the patience to go digging through the internet, searching for your piece. Step 4: Delete the backdrop. (sorry, I know it's cute, but I can't have it in the MAP. you can upload it if you can't stand it) Step 5: Delete all sounds except requested piece and (if you want) the full song. Step 6: Draw your animation! I want this done on backdrops so I can just export them and put them into one big project. No sprites as part of the animation or your entry will not be put in the MAP. Step 8 (see which number I skipped?): Rename your project with your number and username. Step 9: Share! (all entries must be submitted by February 28th) There you go! The instructions should be clear, and if they're not, comment and I can assist you. IMPORTANT NOTES: -All art styles welcome! (just make them appropriate please) -You will be put in the credits of the final project if you participate -If your entry is not submitted by February 28th, I will do it for you (even though I really don't want to) -NO SPRITES JUST BACKDROPS -Each clip is around 2-6 seconds (I think) that's a lot of backdrops if you're doing it the traditional way (that's around 68-300 backdrops to draw) but if it's too stressful which I completely understand, you can just zoom in on the backdrop for your clip if I think it'll work. Otherwise, just do it regularly or pick a new clip (but tell me first) -I will be making a studio and post the link in the comments. You will be required to join the studio to be a part of the MAP. NOTES My Vision: Rapunzel is looking back on the night she sang this song after her coronation, her marriage, and possibly after having kids! So for each line, have her kind of having a flashback. Here's what each clip should include: 1- Instrumental: Rapunzel should be curled up in bed, flipping through her journal. "Seems like I've spent my whole life hopin', dreamin' of things I've never tried,": Rapunzel looking at the lanterns with Pascal. This can be done in any way. She could be examining her painting, looking out of the window, she just has to be looking at the lanterns and Pascal has to be with her. 2- "Tangled in knots just waitin' for my time to shine." Mother Gothel should be pushing Rapunzel aside somehow, making Rapunzel feel denied. 3- "What if the doors began to open," This phrase should have Eugene being knocked out with 'The Frying Pan' by Rapunzel. "What if the knots became untied" Eugene tied to chair with Rapunzel's hair, Rapunzel showing him the picture of the lanterns. "What if one day nothing stood in my way and the world was mine," Rapunzel out on the lake, looking at the lanterns (Eugene should be behind her, not quite in view yet). "Would it feel this fine?" Rapunzel and Eugene sitting in boat, facing each other, holding hands and smiling. 4- "'Cause I got the wind in my hair and a gleam in my eyes and an endless horizon" Rapunzel at her coronation. I know there isn't really a short or anything of this, but here are some ideas: -She could have her crown on, a look of excitement on her face -She could be holding hands with Eugene, also, crown on You can do anything you want really, I just want her to have her crown on. And I don't want Pascal in this clip. Sorry! "I got a smile on my face and I'm walkin' on air." Eugene + Rapunzel wedding. It could be at any moment, you just have to see the two of them. The moment they kiss, them holding hands, THERE JUST HAS TO BE ROMANCE BETWEEN THEM. Period. 5- "And everything life oughta be, it's all gonna happen to me out there," I'm not exactly sure what I want here, just some kind of adventure clip (from the series, in your art style). If you want to do this clip, when you claim it, please tell me what you're picturing so I can get an idea of what you're gonna do. 6- (CLAIMED) "And I'll find it I swear, with the wind in my hair." OK, this next bit's kinda weird but I think it could look cool with the right art style. Rapunzel should stand on the edge of some kind of cliff or hill, hair blowing out behind her (long or short, you choose), and then sunlight kind of outlining her. If that's weird, tell me, and I can change it. " (instrumental) " I think Rapunzel should kind of snap out of her vision for a sec and be smiling down at the journal. 7- "So many roads I've yet to travel," CARAVANCARAVANCARAVANCARAVAN "So many friends I haven't met" Lance, Adira, Angry, Catalina, people she hasn't met quite yet just standing and smiling. Again, if you could tell me what you're going to do before you claim I'd appreciate. 8- "So many new adventures just around the bend" Pick your favorite episode and the most thrilling part from the episode and animate it! (Please tell me which part, I need to approve) 9- "Plenty of mysteries to unravel" Atilla mystery! Or any other mystery in the show, just show some highlights with your art. I don't care which mystery as long as it's a mystery. "Tons of mistakes to NOT regret," Refusing proposal. Heartbreak, sadness, staring off into space 'cause she basically ditched her boyfriend. Or the whole snowstorm mistake. I don't care which, just pick one. 10- "So much to see, and to do and to be, a whole life to spend..." Pick a moment you like from Rapunzel's life and animate it. (Preferably a thrilling-ish one) "And it doesn't end..." This part is building up to one of the most inspiring parts of the song, so make it inspiring to look at! Standing against a sunset, swinging over a lake, just make it AMAZING!!!! 11- "And I got the wind in my hair and a song in my heart and the fun's only startin'" CLIMAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blow away watchers! (Preferably with scenery or romantic moments) You have a lot more freedom towards the end of the animation, and if you don't really like guidelines, this one is probably best for you. 12- (CLAIMED) "I got a skip in my step and I haven't a care..." Rapunzel running, skipping, dancing, anything! I just want her to be moving, preferably with a blurred backround 13- "And everything life oughta be, well I know that it's waiting for me out there..." Same as twelve, but different art style! (or the same, whatever you want is fine) 14- "And I'll find it I swear," MORE RUNNING "With the wind in my hair!" Stop. Pause, standing against a REALLY cool backround, smiling. " (instrumental) " She's no longer thinking, and she's with her family (Eugene and maybe kids if you want). This part is optional, you can do this or you can just continue the cool backdrop bit.
