My theories | | \/ I’d say that the author of the text is Igo. But we don’t really know anything about the “favor” he’s asking for. Just that it is somehow related to Lilo and that it’s probably something bad. The first thing that comes to my mind is that Thio had to somehow injure Lilo, or just get rid of her, because Igo didn’t want her in the circus. But we don’t know about anything especially bad happening to Lilo/Lio, just that at some point they changed their appearance. So either Thio succeeded - he did something to Lilo, but they were still friends at that point so he just couldn’t find the strength in him to actually hurt poor Lilo and just changed how she looks, hoping it would be enough to ruin her career. OR maybe Thio TRIED to do something to Lilo but failed - they got into a fight and Lilo won. In self defence she scratched Thio, and that’s why he has the big scar. But after that she continued being the main star of the circus. Igo wasn’t happy about that and, understandably, blamed Thio for it - he was supposed to get rid of her but he didn’t. Igo couldn’t let that slide, he had to punish Thio - so he took his eyes. And to the circus members he said that the reason for his actions was that “Thio’s eyes weren’t marketable enough”. After that Thio, with his career ruined, probably ran away from the circus, possibly even changed his name. And for all of his troubles he started blaming Lilo/Lio - because if he won that one fight against them, HE’d probably be the main star of the circus, HE’d be bathing in fame right now, instead of being a homeless cat. But that’s just a theory. … if only we could ask Thio about that “favor”… ;) (you know what to do)
