He's just a little guy --------------------------------------------------- Full Name: Solar Soleil Sunnydae Pronouns: He/They ---------------------------------------------------- Company mascot for the best solar panel company in Panem! Solar Soleil Sunnydae is a fast-talking, pun-loving little workaholic. He really, really wants to be liked by other people. Well, being likeable is kind of his job, after all. Being a company mascot generally doesn’t give you a lot of wiggle room on being… weird. Except, off camera, Solar kinda is weird. He doesn’t want to be. He really wants to be normal, and he tries hard. Unfortunately, he just doesn’t… get other people. Not how he should, anyway. Generally uses toxic positivity to survive, they are just generally an optimist but they tend to take it to the extreme. They force themself to be a social butterfly, but after any meeting or party ends, they sink onto the floor of their room and just lie there for a while. They want to be liked and considered a good friend and person, trouble is, most people see them as insincere due to their hyper nature, overwhelming positive affirmations, and corporate branding. They get up early and go to bed late, later than they probably should. When having unscripted conversations, they generally end up not being sure what to say next. Their whole life, they’ve been told what to say and how to say it. ---------------------------------------------------------- Solar was raised by Sunnydae, a solar panel manufacturing company. They’re the company mascot, and have never known any other life. Due to their somewhat higher status (high for the districts, anyway), they’ve had a bit of an easier time growing up. Well, in terms of food and shelter and other basic necessities. They even grew up with some luxuries. He didn’t have any friends though, between living such a sheltered life and being quite the oddball. Therefore, when he was little, he imagined the sun itself to be his friend. You know that weird lemony chemical smell? That’s what Solar associates with his childhood. -------------------------------------------------------- They don’t really have any hobbies outside of work, but they do enjoy learning about electricity when they get the chance. They pick up science easily, along with other little one-off tricks they learned for advertisements. They’re absolutely fascinated by technology, and genuinely believe it can be used to better society so that one day, everyone in both the districts and capitol can live good lives. Until then, the way things are is just how it has to be until a breakthrough is made.
