Today I gave Snowy Ciara a check-up because her owner said she wasn't eating very well. 1. I had her stand on the table, and gave her a feel to find any possible ticks or abscess, which are common when one of the parents is a stray, but luckily I didn't find any. 2. I had her roll over and felt her belly; nothing unusual there. 3. I set her back up and noticed how skinny she was, so I went to fetch her some kitten food. 4-6. She was reluctant, but I got her to eat. 7. I gave her a well-earned stroke on her back, and she started purring. 8-13. I went into the cage room, as I'd like to keep her overnight and keep an eye on her. Ending Note: Snowy Ciara did very well, and I'd like to keep her overnight with regular check-ups. Vet's Note: Snowy Ciara looks fairly healthy, but it's hard to tell with kittens her age.
