2025, a Year in Review The beginning, full of hope, Taking hold of a new rope, Following it. Two months in, The strand ends, So we can find a new way. August, for school, Looking for new friends, Finding a new rope, Following it. September, a month of exam, Now life gets dull, as our noggins get full. The strand ends, So we can look for a new path. October, nearing the end of fall. Cold walks, soothing winds, taking a leaf bath A new rope has come, So follow it. November, now winter. Hoping for snow. Thanksgiving, the turkey, Not so lucky, Seeing family members, And a new rope comes, So follow it. December, the new year, is in sight. Now it is almost here, And the rope ends, But you don't look for another, And you sit, And look back, And you realize, How quick the year has past. Now you find a rope, It's full of hope, For another year to come, So follow it.
Man, I really wrote a poem that long. Only took 5-10 minutes. What are you looking forward to next year?
