Credit to @ConeyFan999 (microgame idea and OCs), @BurgCube (additional ideas), Nintendo (petting and success sound effects), Freesound (other sound effects), and @TheScarfedStickman (idea of TV stage). I think this microgame may raise wonders with where @ConeyFan999 is in all this, seeing as it's her idea... and I'll just say she doesn't have access to her account right now. I assure you all though, she's still doing well. She spectated the progress of this microgame, in fact, and she loves it! That being said I like the claymation style, though the last time I used it was "Built... Last.", which got scrapped from ThinkWare. This one's not going anytime soon though, especially with how cutesy it is. By the way, hold down Q before the microgame starts to disable the timer. If you're holding down Q, you can also hold down R at the same time to force a fakeout. Anyway, here's how it's going: The object of this microgame is to pet Melody or Bun Bun until their heart meter is fully filled. They must be pet in specific sweet spots, and attempting to pet them in an incorrect spot causes the heart to be replaced with an arrow, pointing in the direction of the sweet spot. - Level 1: Melody sits on a pink pillow on a yellow backdrop. Her sweet spot is generous, and doesn't take much petting. - Level 2: Bun Bun sits on a yellow flower-shaped pillow on a pink backdrop. Her sweet spot is smaller, and takes more petting. - Level 3: Both cones sit besides each other on a purple backdrop. Both have generous sweet spots, and don't take much petting. There is also a chance that Eggplant appears in a Melody or Bun Bun costume instead. Petting Eggplant will result in a loss as doing so will cause him to become agitated and bite the hand. If left alone for 6 beats, Eggplant is relieved as the microgame ends in the win. [BEGIN DEVELOPER NOTE] = ASSETS = Besides the commands and stuff, this microgame has 37 costumes and 1 backdrop. = INTEGRATION = To integrate this into a full project, the following must be done: - IMPORTANT: Update the microgame count. - Import these as normal: the sprite, the backdrops, the music, the broadcast script (into the chain of if-loops), and the practice menu costumes. - No need to add anything to the lists, this is a short game with mouse controls. - If applicable, add it to one of the speed lists. - Import the command and sound. - Import the 3 extra [petcone] scripts in Stage. Local timer, dynamic music, and one more thing I forgot to write but am too lazy to spend these 20 seconds to check instead of typing all this. - If applicable, update the credits.
