WIP (love this char so I will be locking in *evil laugh*) cries in scratch slice-and-diced the quality X_X ... Bio? [[ Journie ][ she.her ]] ⯎pansexual <3 ⯎self taught electric guitarist (but she won't ever play for anyone unless she reaaaally trust you) ⯎likes: collecting small objects, swimming, stargazing ⯎she wears a lot of different earrings She doesn't remember how she ended up like this. She doesn't remember how long it's been like this. All she knows is that no humans can see or hear her. Everyday she wanders into the town by the harbor, and everyday she tries to get someone, /anyone/, to notice her. Yet no one ever does. She can hang out with the dolphins or flying fish or whale sharks whenever she wants, but it just isn't the same. Michael the clownfish is kinda funny, sure. But Journie yearned for someone who loved /her/, someone who wanted /her/. Instead, she was confined to the sea, where the creatures pitied her desperate need for connection. She had tried to love a land creature once, but of course, he could never love her back. So what was the point? She decided she should just stay deep underwater, invisible, unloved. Journie had no idea how long she had lived, isolated and somber as they come, before Rayna turned her entire world upside-down. Journie was swimming around the reef collecting small pieces of coral and shiny shells that she liked (to make into earrings later) when she sensed something floating near her. This reef was the closest she ever came to the surface, but it was still so far away, so that couldn't possibly be a human. But they weren't complaining or yammering on about their food like the sea creatures. Her head whipped around, and her eyes met with those of the prettiest HUMAN girl the world had ever seen. Although, her eyes certainly hadn't /met/ with Journie's, right? Surely, this human was merely staring through her. Journie's pouch left her hand as she darted through the water to the other side of the reef. She put her head in her hands and tried not to cry. /Do not get your hopes up. She didn't see you. She doesn't care about you. She doesn't even know you exist./ Suddenly those beautiful eyes were right in front of her again as the girl's head popped in to view. Journie didn't know whether to try and talk to her or swim away. This must be a crazy dream or something. "Hey!" the mystery girl exclaimed "H-Hello..." "I do believe you dropped this!" She thrust Journie's pouch into her hands. Journie wanted to express her gratitude, but no words came. "So, you like diving here too?" "I didn't know anyone else knew about this place," She still couldn't believe this human was really talking to her. "Welp..." the mystery girl shrugged, and Journie found her voice at last. "But yes, I come here all the time, yeah. One of my favorite spots. A bit close to the surface, but that's alright. This one is the best one for pearls. Plus, also, bonus, Michael never comes down here, haha, so that can be nice." The girl chuckled. "Who's Michael?" "Clownfish." Journie answered quickly, as if she was worried this really was a dream, and soon she might wake up. "I see." The bizarre human chuckled slightly and tucked her flowing hair behind her frilled ears. Frilled ears! Journie couldn't stop herself from gasping. "Wait... are you... hold on... what?" (wip)
