SMASH BROS ENGINE UPDATE YAYYAYAYAYAYAYA btw make sure you have arial narrow installed onto your computer or else some text will not render properly ssbg fanart project coming soon, planning on releasing v13.2 for that on christmas every character can combo somewhat atleast beware of scratch key limit when playing locally with a friend update log: added framework for multiple characters in the engine added 2 new characters, link (ex of official character) and reimu (ex of non-official character, not found in most smash fangames) added widescreen support added camera shake added parrying when two players hit each other at the same time while their hitboxes are touching revamped menu and win screen to account for multiple characters now recoded camera system added camera shake effects reworked how backgrounds move with the stage added proper reverb effects to spanish announer and japanese voice lines increased time you have to be off the ground in order for your land animation to play changed y position of players on respawn platform you can now do any action while on the respawn platform to fall through crouching no longer stops you from performing actions made mario 10% bigger added a few frames to mario's up air to make it look cleaner (adjusted speed accordingly) players only change color when they ditto with another player and the player with the smaller port won't change color off screen indicators now do a little animation and they're bigger every soundtrack in the game is now compressed to reduce file size removed KO gfx and multiple tracks on one stage due to file size :( (still possible in the engine but the audio tracks are removed) stuff imported from smash bros. engine v0.0.2 v0.0.2 will likely never come out and will just be a full game instead settings menu gradient dmg counters (ooh fancy) smaller player tags revamped pause menu the ability to end a jab without finishing it (leads to infinites without any endlag rn but whatever) bug fixes for sudden death and 2 players hitting each other at the same time 3 new stages: final destination, battlefield, and dreamland platform collision logic made mario faster: attacks, movement, fast falling, allat more accurate fps counter
