Hey ya’ll. I realized a few days ago I want to leave scratch. It takes a lot of time and energy to post here - in a community that is pretty much dying out. I came back to Scratch hoping it would give me that same sense of joy it did when I used to use it - but I’m older now and would rather focus on improving myself and my art, not some profile on a tiny social media platform. I think a lot of kids here get stuck with the popularity whirlpool; and I can change that, I can leave and hope others do the same. Art isn’t something you do to become popular. I think I understand that in better detail now. I’m shutting down comments on my pf but all projects are still open for comments. I’m closing my DTA down now and handing the designs over to the best entries so far. Maybe I’ll be back, but that’s not likely. Like I said, you’re better off improving yourself than a persona online. Koa out.
