BIG DISCLAIMER BEFORE WE START Please for the love of all things, do not take this as an attack or slight against anyone, especially not against Aster, Haruki, or anyone else in the FC ceremony chain I'm referring to. I hold no hate or malice towards anyone, I simply just feel the need to clarify my meanings and intentions with how I've rped Sabulo because I feel like its getting wildly misinterpreted and people are painting them as some villain and bad guy when that is 100% not what they are :sob: Anyway, with that out of the way, I apologize for any aggressive tone in this, I'm slightly miffed and it probably leaked into my writing, but don't take any of it to heart. Onto the actual reason I'm posting this-- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Hiya all, I'm making this to clear up some misconceptions I keep seeing about Sabulodaybreak's whole involvement in the current FC announcement thread regarding Snugglebugstar, Raspberryheart, and the Snuggleberry kits, because people keep seeming to misinterpret or be shoving words in my character's mouth and I'm not very appreciative of that ^^ Anyways, onto my points and explaining 1. Why the heck does Sabulo even care? In my head this is obvious, but the reason Sabulodaybreak cares the MOST about this code breaking is the fact that, in their eyes, the leader of the clan is supposed to be (as they said) the clan's example of how to follow Starclan and the code. And in their eyes Snugglebugstar is not only breaking the code, but fae (again in Sabulo's eyes) seems to have no regrets or remorse for breaking the code *REPEATIDLY* and knowingly. 2. "BUT WHATS WRONG WITH LOVE?!?!?!?" Nothing. Sabulo said literally nothing about Snugglebug and Raz being in love or together being wrong. They literally do not care, more power to them, they of all cats know the code often stands between cats (I feel like yall are forgetting why Sabulodaybreak CAME to FC, which I'll address in a bit). So no, they don't think its wrong for Snugglebugstar and Raspberryheart to be in love, the part that is wrong is that they had KITS. Which breaks the code. MULTIPLE TIMES. 3. "DONT TAKE IT OUT ON THE KITS!!!" They haven't, they weren't going to, and they WON'T. If any cats are innocent in this whole thing in Sabulodaybreak's eyes, its THE KITS! They feel nothing but empathy and sympathy for them, because the kits didn't decide to be born, especially not in a way that breaks the warrior code. Please stop acting like Sabulodaybreak has at any point been angry at, or implied they will be violent or negative to the Snuggleberry kits </3 4. "Sabulodaybreak has no reason to get invloved, they're not even a falconcat!" To that, dear TSS member, I raise you the fact that Sabulodaybreak is one of the ONLY CATS who I think could have an actual opinion on codebreaking when it comes to cats being mates and having kits. I feel like people keep forgetting that the whole reason in canon that Sabulo moved to FC in the first place was because Hoatzincharm was ALMOST BREAKING THE CODE by coming to see them while they lived in the barrens. As soon as Sabulo started catching feelings for him, they felt HORRIBLE for what they felt like was them making Hoatzincharm choose between his clan and the warrior code, and them. So what did they do? They made a choice, mad a sacrifice, and plopped themself up on the mountain (with Darkstar's permission) so that Hoatzincharm WOULDN'T BREAK THE CODE. So, when Snugglebugstar is made leader and not only announces that they broke the code, but did it multiple times, and seemingly before now (again, in Sabulo's eyes) never considered that either Snuggs or Raz should have done something to avoid breaking before now, it rightfully made Sabulo FURIOUS. Because they've been in almost the EXACT SAME situation before.
