ROUND ONE OF THE PIXEL CHALLENGE BEGINS! COUNTDOWN TO ROUND ONE DEADLINE : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1251385311/ ************************************************************************ THEME: Christmas Submission Form will open TONIGHT (Sat.) Thanks to all those who went ahead and completed the signup form for Round 1! Although Bonus Points for Early Sign-ups have now been allocated, R1 Signups still haven't closed yet, so if you like the theme, and you like to join as a contestant for Round 1, then go ahead and do so now! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1248522474/ Remember to follow the terms and conditions as explained in the Competition Rulebook and follow the FAQ's on the website here: https://thepixelchallenge.weebly.com/ *THE STATUS PAGE The Status Page is updated as often as possible, so if your application has been accepted, then you'll see it in the status page! I've also added an indicator to see whether your submission has been deemed Eligible or not. It is really important that you submit an eligible entry, which is outlined in the competition rulebook, so that you can claim any bonus points that you earned from Round 1! You don't have to use the indicator, but it is a helpful tool, so all you need to do to use this indicator, is to share and submit your entry well before the round ends. Until the submission form opens, your indicator will say 'awaiting'... But once the submission form is open! All you have to do is complete the form sending your project link, and then making sure the link is shared. Your entry won't be judged until after the round ends, which means you can change your entry based on feedback, and once your entry has been viewed, it will be marked on whether it is eligible or not! All you need to do is then check back on this project regularly until you see the status update! You will see if it has been deemed eligible and if not, you will see the reason. This was implemented to minimise the amount of ineligible entries, as that can be very frustrating. However, the tool is only useful if you share and submit your entry at least a few days before the round ends, even if it is unfinished. However, once the round ends officially, your entry will be downloaded, which means any changes you make after may not be judged or taken into account.
