wowie the redesign only took me 2 HOURS!!!! ooooooough I'mreally proud of this one actually TW: Although this isn't meant to portray this act, this backstory involves a character mutilating themself and others, none of them are permanently killed or harmed in the process and the major change is purely cosmetic. Themes of burnout, depression, and mental instability are also present. Wavi is a scratch addon tool/mascot built specifically to allow scratchers to create and utilize original music in projects, who also functions as an educator to teach of the creation and production of music for simple artists. It was first speculated, due to lack of explanation of his function, as well as his heightened abilities and adaptability for a simple program, that he was an AI programmed to cater specifically to each user's needs. He was also made under specific programming that allowed him to speak and act fluently, almost human, as well as create his own music using his system and have the most wide-ranged abilities out of all of the mascots featured in the addon. As the addon became more popular, Wavi began to change. He still tried his very best to keep up with the increasing demand for the software's use, but the demand changed faster than he could. Many users overloaded his system, and, although he never showed it, he was beginning to collapse internally, and even began to consider himself obsolete. This lasted up until a video by Wavi himself was uploaded and added into the addon's systems, explaining the different tools and genres used to power the addon. The video featured animated versions of himself and three other mascots (those closely resembling Milli, Tera and Nano) going through the features. While every other mascot spoke normally and cheerfully, Wavi was quieter, and only leaded when he needed to, vaguely wording things and consistently mentioning words such as "replacement" and "failure" as the others simply played along. Eventually, as the video went on, Wavi became more and more insecure until it happened. Wavi vanished from the space the others were in and, assuming this was planned, the other mascots followed and found him, having brutally disfigured himself in an attempt to "fix" himself, crying to himself onscreen. He had been discolored, covered in his own blood, and generally upsetting in nature. He immediately shouted, upon noticing, to cut away, and, since the mascots were in shock, and didn't act immediately, he erratically lashed out. The rest of the video is very disturbing, as it involved Wavi speaking about himself not only to the viewer, but to the others, and he spoke cruelly to everyone, saying they drove him to this. That he had just as much humanity as they did. There were terrifying motions in the background, which can be interpreted as many things, but the most common interpretation is that this implies that he killed the other mascots, or has been tormenting them. After he finishes talking, he fades away, leaving the mascots, returning, completely fine. After around three hours of this video being uploaded, it was finally noticed and taken down by the scratch team, who claimed it was an outside hack to merely upset the users who frequented Wavi's use. It is uknown if this was true. The program remains up today, But Wavi is nowhere to be seen, having been replaced exactly as he had claimed, by Peach, the Milli counterpart, as the main mascot. To this day, nobody is aware of what Wavi really was, or what finally pushed him off the edge, and his fate is still unknown, but it would not be manic to assume that he snapped over the site's misuse of himself, and it proves to teach a very dangerous lesson about the future, and what it could hold for everybody.
