Chapter 2; The Occurrence - July 31, 2024 Timestamp: During 'It Has Begun', 'Never Be Alone Again' Everyone was at their corresponding stations, depending on each other to survive against whatever it was. I was wandering around mine, but not going far (Mainly because Creatospasm keeps reminding me). Cyan-Pal was constantly looking around. He seemed excited about the cyan stuff. It was pretty obvious why… (It was because the weird cyan liquid was… cyan. And he was cyan, obviously, hence his name.) Everything was going smoothly, and nothing strange has happened… yet. Despite everyone being worried about the new appearance of that substance, I was pretty excited – just like Cyan-Pal. It isn’t everyday that you get to experience this sudden event! My brother, Cy-P, kept on saying it was really cool and that he had already witnessed it. Despite his consistent yapping, I already knew he was either lying, or just had a dream about it. After a few hours, I started to believe that everything we were doing was useless, and that the cyan stuff Quan was talking about was fake, or a hoax. As if I even know what ‘hoax’ means… However, I quickly changed my preference, knowing that Quan wouldn't lie about something so serious, especially if it’s potential danger. It didn’t take long after that before I got an alert from Creatospasm through the walkie-talkies given to us. He had seen it. Before he could continue with what it was doing, his signal/connection died out. It was sudden, and extremely unusual, since he never hangs up on people. Unless… I started to get worried, but before I could even respond, I saw it too. It looked like some sort of corruption. It reminded me of something. A ton of things actually. There was one that was black and all glitchy, and one that was pitch black with the victims having magenta/pink-ish faces… I forgot though. I’m probably just thinking of nightmares I had in the past, but I didn’t have much time to think anymore. My instinct told me to run away from it. I did. I alerted everyone through our walkie-talkies, then put it back in my tuft (I can hide a ton of stuff there). I kept on running, all I knew was that I had to escape whatever it was. After a while, I saw my sister, Kaletx, and told her to get up to evacuate. She didn’t seem to hear me, so I just did what came first in my mind. I carried her. Don’t ask how, she’s 10 and surprisingly light… or I just have superpowers! (I was told I didn't. =[ ) She didn’t really question it, all my focus was that she was safe… along with myself. I wanted for us to stick together. I needed it. I needed her. We came across two portals, but one was suspicious. Kaletx pointed out a cyan crack that went directly across the first portal in a vertical way. Maybe it was the reason why that cyan corruption came here in the first place. Maybe it was the reason on how, or why. It could be the reason why… Nevermind. “CB. There.” Kaletx pointed out the second portal, which was further but seemed safer. I nodded and ran inside. We were sent to some room with various portals, each with its own label and colors. It was named The Portal Room, for obvious reasons. I’ve been here before, but I’m not sure about anyone else. I looked around, while Kaletx (my sister) was frozen and confused. I spotted something off. Everything was in the right positions, but one. There was one that seemed out of the ordinary. It was new and didn’t have a label on where it would lead to. We didn’t want to risk going in the portals that were already labeled, since we just assumed the cyan corruption already went there. I waved to her, as a sign of ‘Follow me’.
