Defend the generator of the research space colony! After a robotic AI experiment has gone terribly wrong, the whole colony must evacuate! There is only one cannon to defend the generator that is charging the escape ships. You volunteer to stay behind and defend the generator that is charging your comrad's only hope of escape. Use <-, ->, A, or D to move left or right Press space, up arrow, or W to shoot Press S or hover over the shop with the mouse to open the shop to by upgrades Upgrades: Cannon upgrade: decreases cannon cool down time Mobility upgrade: increase speed Health boost: gives you +1 health The game ends once you loose all your health The game has 4 different endings once the Cyberdroids have destroyed the generator, depending on how long you lasted Once your done, check the world records to see if you beat any
Back story: You and five-hundred other people set out five years ago from Earth on the Alpha Voyager III to the planet Quasar, 2 million light years away. Quasar was first discovered when a mysterious, glowing green, meteor hit Earth. After months of studying it, scientists figured out it was a rare material that produced waves that almost exactly copied the brain waves of humans. They figured out that it could be used to make the next generation of AI robots, which they had been planning for decades. The Cyberdroids. Unfortunately, during the first test with adding it to the Cyberdroid, the material disintegrated. The scientists knew what they had done wrong, but there wasn't any of the substance left. You and the other crew member's mission, code named "Mission Alpha", was to fly the five year journey to Quasar, make a colony there, study the planet and most importantly, get more of The Substance, which the green materiel was now called. Because the journey was so long, you also had to develop and create the Cyberdroids. Unfortunately, everything went wrong... The Cyberdroids got too smart. They started to evolve The Substance to make it do what they wanted. The changes made The Substance red. The Cyberdroids wanted to conquer the humans.
