You know how they work. ha ahh. Compasses point towards the magnetic north pole (which is different from the real north pole), but if there is a magnet too close by, they point at the magnet. because they are magnetized. You all know this you went to middle school probably. All this to say I KNOW it's not entirely a 100% accurate interactive video. I know about magnets. and how they work. ha. -- can't believe this is the first project about them coming out. I literally have 4 other ones I started before this one. loll. Anyway. NORTH gets really bad headaches around magnets because they make their compasses point in a different place than they're supposed to.
