UPDATE: Lin's account https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1253942712/#comments-513425342 The ENTIRE S-Pop community has been speculating for a while: WHO is the mastermind behind @.tea-spop? And WHAT were their motives? Now, I'm here to uncover this serious situation, so that you don't have to search any further. Before I dive in deeper, I will state that this is all alleged information and speculation that you're free to openly disagree or agree with, as long as you are respectful. I have been informed through a source about a potential suspect is @.galaxi-is-awesome. There are screenshots of this user with suspicious activity which they likely SHOULDN'T be able to access, or at least the likelihood of them discovering a comment chain. Linked here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1253630006/ We see them saying "Uh shoot wrong acct". But if you dig deeper. This user's b/w contains EXTREMELY similar content and format to @.tea-spop's b/w. Moreover, I can be 100% certain that they know Link (@.iuxiem) from before the whole drama of accusations. Lin's art account is mentioned in a credit for designing their character. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/980116201/ And in the comments of their profile, we see an interaction between Lin and the alleged perpetrator. https://scratch.mit.edu/users/galaxi-is-awesome/#comments-324650678 And now we get more into less of the facts and more of my own personal speculations that you are free to refute with evidence. We see a friendly interaction from Lin, congratulating said speculative perpetrator on reaching 5 follows. They don't respond. (Keep in mind that this comment was from 5 years ago, when Lin was around 10-11 years old.) Still, we later see them talking, exchanging long conversations, and it is also very likely they've talked in other places as well, because of the sudden increase of word count exchange. BUT. This is a huge "but" here. I suspect that they might be insecure about their followers, or maybe that inferior feeling led to the consequences of now. As Lin now has more than 1k followers on her art account, it might make sense if the context is: "jealous, backstabbing friend from 5 years ago with 19 followers runs a smear campaign against popular friend". A very basic plotline, but jealousy can catch even the best of us. And maybe they didn't think much of Lin's comment saying "congrats on 5 followers", but it may have planted a seed of jealousy that would bloom and overgrow in the future. The perceived tea plant that was being nurtured may have been a weed from the start. Taking only what it wants and harming the unknowing benefactor. I may also add that there is a possibility that Lin has/had an emotional attachment to this friend. We see Lin commenting: "IDK i'm afraid of losing you" on the alleged mastermind's profile. And that's 3 years after their first interactions. If a relationship has lasted that long, they've probably stuck together for ages. They'll probably know the drama. They'll know all the old dirt on their friend. They will know a LOT more and have insider information from interacting with the friend. That leads back to my speculation that @.tea-spop is @.galaxi-is-awesome. Who else would know so much about Lin's past mistakes from her time as a younger child? A friend from the past, who has stayed with Lin for YEARS. Only that would make sense to me. But what I don't understand is the PDF accusation from @.tea-spop. If you've known someone for YEARS, you would likely know what they're like. Yes, there are possibilities that personalities are faked, but keep in mind that Lin was 10-11 when she first met the alleged perpetrator (who was 7-8 at the time), which makes it unlikely that their personalities were very forced. We all usually have parts of our personalities that we don't like, and don't want others to see it. That's normal. Maybe Lin or the alleged mastermind showed signs of such masking, and the other saw it, leading to a rift between them. It may have been a misunderstanding. It may have not. Who knows? But let's get back to the fact that knowing someone for around 3 or more years would mean you know many of the things about them. Why the heck would @.tea-spop decide to make a speculative, unsure, accusation against someone they've known for years? Perhaps they indeed were green with envy. Perhaps Lin miscommunicated. Perhaps they just wanted to stir up trouble. We will likely never know for sure. Continued below in Notes and Credits.
But what can't be changed is the aftereffect. Lin was probably hurt. And if she sees this, she may or may not confirm some of these speculations for us. Maybe Lin will realize something important, maybe not. Either way, I would assume that Lin was hurt by this, as it is absolutely unpleasant when someone randomly appears one day, trying to ruin your reputation. And the likelihood that the person who came with the intent to hurt, was your years-long friend you thought you could trust... that would really hurt. As I write these speculations, I hope that nothing will hurt people. But I am only human. I have no ability to perfectly guarantee anything. Hopefully we can find a resolution in the midst of all this. And maybe, this tea was only boiled with the intent to harm one person. Not to harm more.
