The snow falls on the glass The thorns are sharp And refuse to let me pass The red flows When I take a step Corrupting the pure snow The cold numbs my pain It melts around my bare feet It provides me some small aid Others may complain That snow is plain or boring But it can never feign Others have deceived me Thinking my kindness means I'm weak But the cold helps me feel free I find comfort in the frost As it can never lie My body lays in the cold, my soul forever lost
