After wrapping up today's scenes, Jay kicked back in his trailer, sitting in a chair and flipping through his lines. He was so focused on memorizing the words that he didn't even notice when the trailer door opened and closed. "Here you are! I've been searching for you!" A familiar voice pulled Jay out of his thoughts, causing him to jump a bit. He looked up to find Lina Esco standing there, arms crossed. "Well, if I wasn't out and about, where else would I be?" Jay chuckled as he closed his script and tossed it on the table, then leaned forward, resting his head in his hand. "True. Good point," Lina replied, nodding slightly. Her gaze drifted down to Jay, who seemed lost in thought with his chin resting on his hand. "Hey..." "Mhm..." Jay mumbled, looking up just in time to see Lina's smirk turn into a frown. "You good?" she asked, tilting her head a bit. "Never better!" Jay shot back, standing up and taking a deep breath. Lina eyed him, clearly skeptical about his enthusiasm, but she let it slide. "Anyway, Shemar, Alex, and I are heading out for drinks. Wanna join?" she asked. "Sure, sounds fun," Jay replied, then paused, looking puzzled. "Wait, what about David and Kenny?" "David's got plans with Marketa, and Kenny said he had something going on but didn't say what or with who," Lina explained. Jay laughed. "Classic Johnson." Lina rolled her eyes, chuckling. "Seriously, one hundred percent." She glanced at him. "But for real, the guys are waiting. Meet us in the lot when you're ready!" "Cool," Jay said, nodding. "But give me a sec; I need to text Shea and let her know she's gonna have Riker for a few more hours..." "Hope you're paying her enough..." Lina joked with a playful smirk before stepping out of the trailer, leaving Jay to react. He let out a soft scoff and smirked to himself before quickly shooting a text to his sister-in-law, then headed after Lina.
