Just click a player and watch them. The first number, they say, means their current hunger, while the second means their current thirst. If the board says "hunger" at the top, that means most people are dying of hunger, while if it says "thirst", most people are dying of thirst. The bottom left number is the current population, while the bottom right is the total population, dead or alive
