Hello! Well, there's lots to say, uhm... Okay, hi again everyone! I'm extremely over-the-moon past-the-stars pleased to announce... The Pier Cat prologue is out!!! That's right! Finally, after two whole years, it's done! It's honestly been an amazing journey, from the moment I made this idea up to the second I chose the artist. And that journey has barely just begun! I've loved all of it so far, making the contest, seeing all the wonderful enteries, updating the rules a thousand times (lol). It was such a great feeling to see how many people actively took part in my little contest and worked hard for it. Thank you to everyone who entered, who kept me updated on what they could do for this comic, who supported me along the way. Thanks a lot! And thanks so, so much to @-HoneyGlow for making the prologue! Her art was truly amazing, and she was so consistent through it all! So, thanks again. I absolutely love how it turned out! My dream of making a comic would have been so distant and untouchable if it weren't for The Pier Cat's amazing prologue artist, @-HoneyGlow. And everyone else who entered! I will tag all of you in the section below. Yes, really. So, it's been a dream come true. The amount of flabbergastingly good contestants who entered a competition for my comic is well... I'm truly gobsmacked. This comic, The Pier Cat, has been such an undertaking for me. I've read so many comics on Scratch with beautiful art, heart-stopping stories and honestly determined artists. They've inspired me so much, created so many dreams in my head. That's what really got me thinking that The Pier Cat should be a comic. I never really thought I would reach here one day, with a fully-drawn gorgeous prologue for my humble tale. So, many thanks to everyone who helped along the way. And now about my time on Scratch. I joined six whole years ago, and started off making only basic projects. Later I discovered the community. Slowly, slowly, I started to (virtually) meet people in the Scratch community, gain some followers, and actually post stuff! I've met some pretty nice people on here, who've had very long chats with me, liked my projects and followed! They've also been people who gave me advice on several things, helped me out and joined my contests! The artists and writers and (Scratch) programmers on here have inspired me so much! Their work has helped me endlessly to grow my skills, even if they don't know it. But, realistically, I've also made mistakes (ehe). I started interacting with people here when I was what, nine years old? I've shown some pretty bad judgement, getting into unnecessary arguments, not minding my own business, pointing fingers, etc etc. But I've grown to understand how to act in these situations, how to handle different things. It's actually grown me as a person. All the followers I've gained over time has been really encouraging. It's so amazing how close I am to a 100! You know what, I'll actually tag all my followers too. Watch me. Some pretty nice people on Scratch, some of them my followers or people I followed, have left Scratch. It was nice talking to them, seeing all their cool projects. And, in the time I've been on hiatus, a lot has probably happened. But it's okay. I'll catch up. Little by little. So that rounds it all up. Thank you to everyone who's been part of my journey here on Scratch. Which, by the way, hasn't ended yet. I'm not leaving. I may just be a bit... inactive again. But I'll post when I can, and just y'all go knowing it's great here. And that I'll be back sometime with another speech that stretches as the far as the stratosphere. So enjoy the comic! I'd love to keep working on it, and though it may be a while, The Pier Cat will live on.
