WARNING!!! THIS GAME HAS JUMPSCARES, FLASHING LIGHTS, AND LOUD NOISES! Can't believe I released this on Christmas day. Use the monitor on your right to view cameras in the halls and vents. There are two camera buttons to switch between "Cams" (halls) and "Vents". On your left, you can access a panel to reboot systems (Audio, Camera, Ventilation) that go offline. Lure Springtrap. Running out of uses causes an error, requiring a reboot. Ventilation: The most crucial system. If it fails, you start seeing multiple non-existent Springtraps (hallucinations), making tracking difficult, and your screen gets foggy. Reboot All. This option reboots all systems faster than fixing them individually.
"I always come back." -William Afton/Springtrap/Dark Springtrap/Adventure Springtrap/Scraptrap/Glitchtrap/Burntrap... 30 years after the closure of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, in an attraction called Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction, which is determined to cash in on the old rumors of the haunted restaurants. Fazbear Entertainment was now known for the missing children and their killer, William Afton. The owners of Fazbear's Fright search the remains of the old pizzerias for anything salvageable. They initially find only empty shells and parts, but eventually make a "remarkable discovery": a single, functional animatronic they name Springtrap. Springtrap is actually an old Spring Bonnie suit, one of two "springlock" suits (the other being Fredbear) that were designed for both animatronic use and human performers. These suits were decommissioned due to unreliable and dangerous springlock mechanisms that could snap shut with moisture or sudden movement. The player takes on the role of a new night security guard at the attraction, who must monitor the ventilation, audio, and camera systems to survive against the sole real animatronic, Springtrap, and various "phantom" hallucinations of other animatronics (Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Mangle, Puppet, and Balloon Boy). William Afton was the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment alongside Henry Emily. He was responsible for the murders of several children, whose souls went on to possess the animatronics. The spirits of the dead children cornering William Afton in a safe room (a hidden room inaccessible to customers). Desperate to hide, William puts on the abandoned Spring Bonnie suit found in the room. His laughter or the moisture from the room and his movements cause the faulty springlock mechanisms to fail, painfully crushing and impaling him inside the suit. His corpse is left to rot within the suit for decades, becoming Springtrap. Yeah. A fire breaks out in Fazbear's Fright due to "faulty wiring". A newspaper article confirms the attraction burned down, and the salvaged items were sold at auction. While the fire was intended to be a definitive end, a final cutscene in Sister Location and later games confirm that William Afton, as Springtrap, survived the fire and escaped, continuing his reign of terror.
