I got permission to make a little game where you play as Ringmaster Ranboo helping out the other circus members and I need ideas. so basically this is how the game would work: you can explore every area of the circus and everyone will have a different quest for you (like for example, Clef needs help finding her violin). You can also explore some places and learn more about the circus maybe. Now here's what I need help with: - Character quests: I don't know a lot about everyone else's OCs so you can comment what quest your OC could give out. It could involve like a minigame or a puzzle or something. Also I might not add everyone's OCs because we don't have all the character reference sheets right now, but I'll update the game once we get more characters. - Character personalities: How would your OC act if they needed help and Ringmaster Ranboo was the only one who could help you? What would they say? - Setting: What does the Ranboo Digital Circus look like? Does it look the same as the TADC circus? What does Ringmaster Ranboo's office look like? - Lore: Is there any Ranboo Digital Circus lore that the player can learn by interacting with certain things (like a painting or a snowglobe)? And is Ranboo hiding any secrets from the circus members...? - Voiceovers (idea from @WildBubbleMint): Is everyone okay with doing voiceovers for their OC or letting someone else voice their OC? If you want to voice your own OC, it doesn’t have to sound great or professional :) but if you don’t want to voice your OC or you don’t think your voice would match, then we can host auditions for someone else to voice your OC if that’s okay with you. the full game isn't gonna look like this lol I just don't know what the TFDC circus looks like yet Actually I was thinking about making this a 2D top-down scroller game, but now I think it would be better as a point-and-click game just because I can't code all the scrolling stuff even with tutorials. So yeah I think I'll just make it a point-and-click game but maybe add some minigames that involve the scrolling code because I spent hours learning that stuff. anyway you can't really do anything in this project except walk around. I just made this to show how the textbox will work in the actual game
