At the turn of the decade, River needed a solution to their money problem, and fast. Their solution, was a concept crossover SUV called the RU4. It was a big success, pulling River out of its financial ruin, and gave them enough money to replace their aging lineup. In 2023, Development began on a Astral MKVI, To replace the ancient MKV which had been on sale for almost 10 years, with one bodystyle, due to River not having enough money to build the sedan and 5DR hatch models. After 2 1/2 years of development, the MKVI Astral released to a lot of fanfare, mostly due to the better build quality of literally everything, and the styling ques, inspired by the MKII and MKIII Astrals. On its debut day, the car sold over 5000 Units, Making River even more money in Europe and Asia. The car launched with new engines, a new interior, and a new platform, which according to River CEO, @Thecrazycoder937, "Will be used for many more cars in the coming years." This generation of Astral looks promising for the future of River, and so far, its has not disappointed.
