Bio: (Note: totally fictional) Brent is a 2-6-6-4 Simple Articulated Steam Locomotive manufactured by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1937, and was one of thirty-five of engines of his class Y-1 ordered to work for the Chicago, Minnesota and Michigan Railroad. He was Assigned to Pull Freight and Coal Trains until 1950s, after realizing the economic challenges of keeping and operating an all-steam locomotive fleet, the CM&M decided to begin purchasing diesels being ordered from ALCO and EMD, respectively. In 1958, they began prioritizing a complete dieselization of the railroad. The following year, the CM&M began to retire their Y-1s. So they Decided to Planned a Farewell to Steam Excursion in late 1950s. In 1959, Brent was tasked to haul an 18-car Farewell to Steam excursion on the CM&M mainline, along with Tom, Leonard, Bernard, Eustace, Sarah, Eugene, Ethan, Adam (Ethan's Brother), Steam, Gabriel, Jake (Gabriel's Brother), Sheldon, Seth, Hank, Joey, Jeremy, Danny (Jeremy's Brother), Big Bubba, Phillip, Cooper, Therston, Blake, Fred, Burt, George, Jimmy and Ol' Number Nine. He was hauled it through the CM&M's Minneapolis Limited Division, and then he traveled over the Michigan Central Station from Detroit, Michigan to Chicago Union Station from Chicago, Illinois. After the excursion, He was retired from the CM&M, in November 1961. After his Retirement, he was Sold to Scrapyard in Chicago, Illinois, Along with Tom, Leonard, Bernard, Eustace, Sarah, Eugene, Ethan, Adam (Ethan's Brother), Steam, Gabriel, Jake (Gabriel's Brother), Sheldon, Seth, Hank, Joey, Jeremy, Danny (Jeremy's Brother), Big Bubba, Phillip, Cooper, Therston, Blake, Fred, Burt, George, Jimmy and Ol' Number Nine. But before he even got cut up, The CM&M requested the scrapyard to donate him to their Station in Richmond, Virginia, as a result of her hard work on the line. The scrapyard refused at first, but when the railroad convinced some sense into them, the scrapyard agreed. And so Brent was Moved to the CM&M's Station in Richmond, Virginia to put on Outdoor Display. Today, Brent was on Static Display at the CM&M Richmond Station in Richmond, Virginia. Just like Big Bubba, Jake (Gabriel's Brother) and Adam (Ethan's Brother), Brent was also unlikely to return to operational condition for the CM&M's Steam Program, since the Railroad's Other Articulated Steam Locomotives, Eugene (a 4-6-6-4 Challenger type Simple Articulated Steam Locomotive Class W-1 No. 6035, built in 1937), did running on their Steam Program since 1968, and Burt (a 2-6-6-2 Mallet Steam Locomotive Class O-1 No. 4879, built in 1917) in 1988.
