Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Marian apparition highly revered in Mexico and Latin America, who appeared to Saint Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill in 1531, leaving her miraculous image on his cloak (tilma), a symbol of faith, hope, and unity, especially for mestizos and indigenous peoples, whose feast day is celebrated every December 12th. today we celebrate our Lady of Guadalupe as for she is the mother of our lord our savior Jesus Christ
