I labeled the characters’ names so you know who they are and what characters they’re based on if needed. 1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? It’s a Big City Greens fanfic, but it’s pretty much a parody of Sailor Moon Cosmos, so it has characters from that movie with several differences. The storyline is where Chip meets his long-lost brother, Galaxy, who has the power to destroy anything. They want to take over the world and later the universe, and Cricket is the only one who can stop them, with the help of The Three Stars (The Three Lights), a trio of pop stars, and Tiny (Chibi Chibi), his adopted little sister. (I may have to rewatch SMC because need to get more ideas to continue the story.) 2: What inspired your story? Sailor Moon Cosmos and a fanart I saw. 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? It takes place both on Earth and in space, in the timeline of Big City Greens, after Unplanned, but it’s an AU, since in this universe, Gabriella never went goth. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? So far, my favorite place is Big City, where all the events I’ve made yet happen, since the story is currently less than halfway done. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? Cricket is the protagonist, just like in the actual show, and he is in the place of Sailor Moon, since this is a parody of Sailor Moon Cosmos. 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? I’m not sure yet. 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? Probably Chip and Galaxy, since they’re both villains, and Galaxy helps Chip and his evil family escape jail. 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? The conflict is where Cricket’s family get taken by Galaxy and Chip, who are the villains. Fun fact: the Greens were originally going to die (non-violently) and then get revived at the end, but I changed that because BCG is a kids’ show, and I might share the story here on Scratch which may make in inappropriate. 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? Probably The Three Stars because the Greens (other than Cricket) are suspicious of them. 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Not exactly, but Cricket might count, even though he’s not an original character 11: Is there an animal sidekick? No 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? It will probably be Chip 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? I haven’t exactly made one yet, but the moral will probably be to never give up on those you love. 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? None yet—I only have an unfinished draft. 15: What genre would you consider your story? Action-adventure, comedy, and drama. 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? It’s a transcript, so it could be a play or a movie 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? Probably “Legends Never Die (Alan Walker Remix)”, since I found a SMC video on YouTube with that song 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? So far, just people, but I might add animals later on. 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? Tiny turns Cricket’s dirt jar into fairy dust (but turns it back into dirt after she uses some on Tilly while she and Cricket sneak out to go to a concert) 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? Cricket’s family disappears and he feels like he can’t do anything without them, and later on he finds out they’ve been turned evil by Galaxy, which makes him have to fight his own family. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? Originally, the Greens (except Cricket) and Gabriella were going to die, but they just get taken by Galaxy. However Cricket dies near the end, but gets revived by his future self, Cosmos Green (who the fanfic is named after), who time traveled to where Cricket is. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? I would choose Cricket or Tiny to be friends with, but I wouldn’t get along with Chip or Galaxy. 23: If any, what weapons are used? None, unless you count magic or superpowers 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? The Greens were originally going to die and The Three Stars would originally have a princess to guard like in SMC (and they end up becoming Cosmos and Gabriella’s guards).
25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? Cosmos (Cricket’s future self) is from 1000 years in the future, but he became immortal one year after this story takes place, so he looks like an 11 to 12-year-old. Cosmos is actually the king of the Earth (with Gabriella as his queen) and guardian of the universe, and his family is still alive since everyone became immortal once he became the god of the universe. Tiny Green is actually Cosmos and Gabriella’s daughter. And finally, Cosmos’s full name is King Cosmos Cricket Ernest Green (really just Cricket’s full name but with King Cosmos added at the beginning).
