During the holidays, we tend to get caught up in everything- presents, shopping, decorating, all that fun stuff. But the one thing we most often forget is Jesus. "Christ"mas is celebrated because it is the day our savior, Jesus Christ, came into our world. Mary, who was only about 15 at the time, was told by an angel that she would give birth to a son. The Son would be the Messiah, who would come to give his life for all of our sins. It later came time for the baby to be born. Mary and her Husband Joseph traveled to Bethlehem in search of a place to stay, but all of the inns said there was no room for them. They eventually came upon a lowly stable. Cattle were feeding out of a manger, which Joseph cleared out. It then came time for the baby to be born. Mary and Joseph wrapped the baby in a cloth, laying Him in the manger. And thus our King came into this world, lowly and humble. They called Him Jesus. +*¨^¨*++*¨^¨*+ +*¨^¨*++*¨^¨*+ +*¨^¨*++*¨^¨*+ +*¨^¨*++*¨^¨*+ This Christmas, don't get too distracted by all the shiny lights, new presents, and exciting events.
